I love going out around 5:45 a.m. for my morning walk. It is peaceful because most people are still asleep and I am able to chat with my animal friends as I walk along the lake … Barry and Barbara Beaver are out most mornings along with the occasional deer and the many ducks and geese.
As fall approaches and the days get shorter I am also treated to some beautiful sunrises and I just can’t get enough of them. The last few days have been some good ones!
It started off early last week with this …
And then Friday the sky was full of pink and blue.
But yesterday I was greeted with the most unusual orange sky as I approached the lake.
And once I arrived down on the beach all I could do was look in amazement as the sky went from bright orange to pretty peach and blue colours!
Until next time …
Love the early morning and your wonderful sunrise photos.

Since I will just about never see a sunrise, I thank you for doing the hard work of getting up and out there to capture it. 😂😂😂 And while I am no fan of the shorter days that come with Fall and Winter, I guess there’s a silver lining to be found. These are fantastic photos!

Thanks Laura, I am happy to do the work for you while you snuggle under the covers 😊 I also hate the shorter days but I do like the fall colours!

Thank you, I’m sure the view from 107 would have been fantastic as well. You should have been there 😊

It surprises me as well and the last few days it has been even darker, I may have to wait until 6:00 a.m. to start my walk.

Wow! Those sunrises looked more like sunsets, especially with that orange sky. It makes getting up at that crazy hour worth it.
