And The Days Grow Shorter

I love going out around 5:45 a.m. for my morning walk. It is peaceful because most people are still asleep and I am able to chat with my animal friends as I walk along the lake … Barry and Barbara Beaver are out most mornings along with the occasional deer and the many ducks and geese.

As fall approaches and the days get shorter I am also treated to some beautiful sunrises and I just can’t get enough of them. The last few days have been some good ones!

It started off early last week with this …

And then Friday the sky was full of pink and blue.

But yesterday I was greeted with the most unusual orange sky as I approached the lake.

And once I arrived down on the beach all I could do was look in amazement as the sky went from bright orange to pretty peach and blue colours!

Until next time …

  1. Since I will just about never see a sunrise, I thank you for doing the hard work of getting up and out there to capture it. 😂😂😂 And while I am no fan of the shorter days that come with Fall and Winter, I guess there’s a silver lining to be found. These are fantastic photos!
