Maxx arrived in our household on March 9, 2013. We had spent the previous two years traveling to RV dealers in British Columbia, Alberta, and Washington looking for the layout that best suited our needs and Maxx definitely fits the bill.
Our Wildcat Maxx Fifth Wheel is 35 feet long with two slides on the driver’s side. The two slides on one side was a conscious decision on our part as we wanted to leave the passenger side open for sitting space under a large awning. Our other reason was that BC Provincial Parks have the fire pit and picnic table on the passenger side so we wanted to leave lots of room on that side. When we first purchased Maxx both hubby and I were still working and most of our camping was weekend trips to Provincial Parks.
Once we retired and started travelling full time we added some features to Maxx which include:
- Four solar panels (600 Watts)
- 3 Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Batteries
- Xantrex charging system
- 2000 watt true sine wave inverter
- WI-Fi ranger
- Kodi media system
- Back-up camera
- Triple on-line water filtration system
- Water saver shower head
- Side table between the two chairs
- LED lights throughout
- Bike Rack
- 2 EFB 500 E-bikes
Maxx is now set up the way we want and we look forward to spending many more years traveling together 🙂
