It’s been a week since our daughter and grandson headed home and we so wish they were still here, but they are not so now it’s time to start getting ready to make our trek home.
We won’t leave for another three weeks but there is prep we need to do. I have to start using up the food we have in the outdoor freezer and hubby needs to use up the beer in the outside fridge. Honestly the beer in the outdoor fridge won’t happen unless we have a lot of visitors, and I mean a lot!
Hopefully the upcoming dinners and happy hours we have planned will take care of that. Hubby ended up with a lot of Budweiser, Bud Light, and Coors Light which isn’t beer he usually drinks, unless he is at the Cantina since that is what they serve. Hubby does help out a lot of people who have problems with their RV’s or park models and he won’t accept payment, he just wants to help our fellow neighbours, so to show their gratitude they will give him beer. He really appreciates the gesture but this year he ended up with a lot more beer than he can drink before we go home.
But like I said we will hopefully be able to share it with friends at our upcoming get togethers.
I have been busy preparing some soups, egg muffins, and cooked chicken for salads, to make meals on our trip home easier. Just before we leave here I will boil up the leftover eggs and hopefully find room in Maxx’s fridge and freezer for all the other food. I’m not to worried, somehow it works out every year 😀
It is hard to believe our winter south is almost over. This year just seemed to be so busy and the time just flew by, but that’s okay because it means we had another great winter!
Until next time …
Aren’t you both allowed to declare some Alcohol when returning to Canada? That will help your summertime entertainment.
Be Safe and Enjoy the rest of your time.
It’s about time.

Yes we can both take back 24 beer or 1.5L of wine but that still leaves a lot of beer to share with our friends before we go 😊
