Shortly after the beautiful sunrise yesterday morning it started to rain so we decided to take a drive to Saddle Mountain. Saddle Mountain is an hour and twenty minutes east of Quartzite or forty minutes west of Phoenix and we planned to head there on Tuesday. I’m glad we checked it out beforehand because, while it is a very pretty spot, the roads into the BLM land are pretty rough and narrow … definitely not roads we would take Maxx on! Since we were only twenty minutes from Buckeye, a suburb of Phoenix, we headed there to pick up some fresh vegies, have lunch, and fill up with cheap Fry’s diesel.
Our new plan is to stay where we are until Thursday when we have reservations at an RV Park in Phoenix for a few nights.
Until next time …
What side of Phoenix will you be at?

The west side in Goodyear.

I think you guys are on the east side, correct? We may be out that way later in February and would love to get together … either that or we could meet up this summer at home 😊

Either way sounds great to us. We’re in Gold Canyon. As far from Goodyear as you can get.

We might have to plan an Okanagan Blogger Fest this summer 😊

We have heard of Organ Stop Pizza many times and plan on stopping there when we are in the area. This time we will be on the west side so to far to drive.
