Saddle Mountain, Arizona

Shortly after the beautiful sunrise yesterday morning it started to rain so we decided to take a drive to Saddle Mountain. Saddle Mountain is an hour and twenty minutes east of Quartzite or forty minutes west of Phoenix and we planned to head there on Tuesday. I’m glad we checked it out beforehand because, while it is a very pretty spot, the roads into the BLM land are pretty rough and narrow … definitely not roads we would take Maxx on!

Since we were only twenty minutes from Buckeye, a suburb of Phoenix, we headed there to pick up some fresh vegies, have lunch, and fill up with cheap Fry’s diesel.

Our new plan is to stay where we are until Thursday when we have reservations at an RV Park in Phoenix for a few nights.

Until next time …
