We arrived at our next destination before we even left our RV Park in Yuma today! You can probably figure out how that worked, but just in case you don’t want to tax your mind, we left Arizona, which is on Mountain Time, and arrived forty minutes later in California, which is on Pacific Time.
Normally we would spend three months in Yuma but by the time I found out I could travel, someone else had booked our usual site at Cocopah RV Park for January and February. You may remember our original plan for the last week of December and the first week of January had us camping on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in the Florida Keys.
We will have to save that image for a future year, but back to this year … so our five weeks at our site in Cocopah have come to an end. Hubby had boondocking near the American Girl Mine site on his list of places to visit and we had a week to kill before we head to Lake Havasu so here we are.
I have been fighting a cold since we arrived back after Christmas and I am really looking forward to doing nothing more than sleeping, reading, and being for lazy for a few days. Once we get bored of that we are conveniently located between Yuma and El Centro … and of course the outlet mall in Calexico, so I also sense a little shopping in my future 🙂
Until next time …
