Sisters, Oregon

Well our quest for sun did have a price to pay it was COLD this morning! But there was a simple solution, crank on the heat, crawl back into bed with a cup of coffee and wait for Maxx to warm up … I can handle that 🙂

It didn’t take long for the sun to warm up the air so after breakfast we pulled out the bikes and road around town. Sisters has an extensive corridor of walking and biking paths and we rode a few of them. The paths wound through town, past farms, and through the trees.

I was too busy enjoying the view to stop and take any more pictures during our ride.

After lunch we left the bikes at home and took another walk through town.

You can see the campground on the right of the creek.

And then we finished off our afternoon at the Hops and Brew watching the Blue Jays game (at the point of posting they were up by one run and they need to win this game!) and using their very high speed internet!

This was a fun place … it looks like a coffee shop outside and in, and they do sell coffee, but they also sell craft beers from the local area and are more than willing to give you a sample before you choose the one you want. Hubby and I tasted a really good Pumpkin Spice seasonal beer when we were in Long Beach, WA so now the quest is on to find the perfect one!

IUntil next time …
