Carson City, Nevada

We enjoyed our time in Carson City so much that we extended our stay by an extra day. Carson City was founded in 1858 and became the capital of Nevada in 1864. We were surprised by how few casino’s there were in town and we never did get to do any gambling … oh well that’s more money in our pocket 🙂  We did have a very enjoyable afternoon walking along the main street and looking at all the beautiful state buildings.

Firking and Fox where we had a great lunch 🙂

And I saw my first daffodils; usually I don’t see them until I return home!

And the town was filled with flowering Japanese Cherry Trees.

I love spring flowers!

Until next time …
