Santa Ana Winds

Since we have arrived at our November home yesterday we have been treated to the Santa Ana Winds. They are very strong but also warm so it isn’t unpleasant to sit outside and watch the wind whip through the trees. Fortunately the weather forecast calls for them to stop by later tonight because they do get cool once the sun goes down 🙂

Today hubby wanted to go to Camping World to pick up a double battery box so that we can add another battery to store more power from our solar panels. This meant an hour drive to San Marcos, California but that didn’t seem like a bad alternative to sitting outside in the wind!

So we are enjoying lunch in San Marcos were the temperature is 86F, 30C, with no wind and diesel is only $3.47 a gallon … yup life is good.

Until next time …
