It’s 73°, Life is Good!

Today we drove through Nevada, California, and into Arizona. Our three states today were done in less than three hours and we only made the briefest of appearances in California (we will save California for next year) but it’s fun doing more than one state a day … it makes you feel like you have covered a lot of ground!  We are spending the night in Lake Havasu before we head onto Phoenix.  Once again we are in an RV park that is more like a parking lot, which seems to be the standard in this area.  Hopefully we will find a better park in Phoenix.  After setting up we went to find the London Bridge, which is a bridge that originally span the River Thames in London, England.  In 1967 it was dismantled and relocated to Lake Havasu where it was rebuilt and now crosses over to a small island.  We missed it on the drive over the to the island, we thought we were crossing a smaller bridge on our way to the London Bridge and I have to say neither of us were overly impressed with it.  After we came back over it a second time we decided to take a walk around the park underneath the bridge which was a good thing because the bridge is more impressive from the underside.  I will leave you with a few pictures of the bridge and a picture of hubby and I on the shores of Lake Havasu.
